This study entitled "The theory of lexical phonology and Morphology", aims to explain the theory, which consists of the theory itself and two main parts: morphological component, phonological component and syntactical component. In this theory, which still influences and contributes to research on language, lexicon and morphological component are important. In Chomsky's generative grammar (1970), it was not considered to have an independent morphological component, but the component of syntax linked morphemes together, and words had little importance. Gradually, they imposed their morphological and phonological modules from this current theory.The aim of the theory is to articulate how the internal organization of morphological component and its relation to syntactic component. The theory is applied to the central Kurdish language system. The synchronous approach of the research is descriptive analysis and comparative approach. Empirical research is conducted on samples and data of the language. In other words, the spoken language by speakers of Central Kurdish is targeted and previous research by grammarians and linguists on this language are utilized.Part I: The theoretical aspects, the history of its origin and how lexical phonology and morphology work are explained and presented by its founders.
